Ceri Rees, CLC

Ceri is on a mission to empower individuals and organizations to navigate complex change in order to deliver on their purpose. Executive leadership experience has given her an appreciation of the delicate relationship between human dynamics and organizational strategy.

Through hands-on experience, she has developed a keen ability to navigate stakeholder dynamics and drive meaningful change in complex environments. Ceri has led executive teams across a range of business sectors, including higher education, municipal government, digital services, non-profit boards and volunteer organizations.

Wise action

At the heart of Ceri’s approach is wise action—the sweet spot between thoughtful discussion and decisive action.

Ceri uses a range of facilitation tools, including Design Thinking and stakeholder engagement, to establish shared understanding of a problem. Then, using co-creation methodologies, Ceri works with individuals and groups to distill complex issues into actionable insights.

Calm yet assured, she provides a steady hand amidst uncertainty, empowering those she works with to navigate challenges with strength and resilience.

Relentless curiosity

Fuelled by relentless curiosity, Ceri is continuously expanding her knowledge and skills in pursuit of growth.

Interested in both the art and science of being human, Ceri holds graduate degrees from Oxford University and Regent College (Vancouver) in Biochemistry and Theology. She will soon complete a third (and final) Masters degree, this time in Leadership.

As a Certified Leadership Coach and soon-to-be Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation, Ceri brings a wealth of expertise in guiding individuals and teams towards their goals. Additionally, Ceri’s training in mediation, conflict resolution, and conflict coaching at the Justice Institute of British Columbia enables her to equip others with the tools to facilitate constructive dialogue and resolve conflicts with empathy and clarity.

  • "Ceri’s facilitation is a competitive advantage. Most seasoned leaders will know that good facilitation is the difference between wasted time (and money), and hallmarks of a high performing team—from motivation and alignment to flow and empowered decision-making. Ceri takes this phenomenon to the next level. Whether it’s 1:1 executive coaching, running a strategy session with your C-suite, or a workshop for 100 emerging leaders, Ceri’s skillful facilitation will pay itself forward a thousand fold."
